Note: The total number, mentioned above, of Palestinians who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank does not subtract those who were released after kidnapping them. *** Note about the number of Palestinians, who were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces in the Wet Bank: The Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), and Al-Dhameer Association for Human Rights stated in a report issued Sunday that the total number of kidnappings of Palestinians in the West Bank, since the start of the ongoing genocide in Gaza, has risen to more than 18,500, including over 570 women and about 1,500 children. Source: Palestine Information Center, August 10, 2025. *** Note About the Missing Palestinians in the Gaza Strip: On February 26, 2025, the Palestinian Center for Political and Development Studies announced that the number of the missing in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 14,000 people, including 2,000-3,000 held in Israeli occupation prisons, without releasing any information on their fate. ***
*** *** *** ý Impacts and Aspects of the Israeli Genocidal War on the Gaza Strip*** UNRWA chief condemns Israeli raid into Agency HQ in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) NEW YORK, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, condemned on Monday the Israeli raid into the Agency’s HQ in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and replacing the UN flag with Israel’s flag. In a statement on X, Lazzarini said that Israeli police accompanied by municipal officials forcibly entered the UNRWA compound in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood of El-Shaikh Jarra'h. “Police motorcycles, as well as trucks and forklifts, were brought in and all communications were cut. Furniture, IT equipment and other property was seized. The UN flag was pulled down and replaced with an Israeli flag.” He added that this followed “months of harassment that included arson attacks in 2024, hateful demonstrations and intimidation, supported by a large-scale disinformation campaign, as well as anti-UNRWA legislation passed by the Israeli parliament in breach of its international obligations.” He slammed this action as “a blatant disregard of Israel’s obligation as a United Nations Member State to protect and respect the inviolability of UN premises.” He pointed out that “UNRWA personnel were forced to vacate the compound at the beginning of this year.” He stressed that “whatever action taken domestically, the compound retains its status as a UN premises, immune from any form of interference.” He recalled that “Israel is party to the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the UN. The Convention makes UN premises inviolable - in other words, immune from search and/or seizure - and makes UN property and assets immune from legal process.” He also recalled that “the International Court of Justice has also underscored that Israel is obliged to cooperate with UNRWA and other UN agencies.” “To allow this represents a new challenge to international law, one that creates a dangerous precedent anywhere else the UN is present across the world,” he concluded. K.F. *** Illegal Israeli settler and Cabinet Member, Ben Gvir, appears wearing a noose pin during Knesset hearing about the death penalty for Palestinian prisoners Monday 8-December-2025 NAZARETH, (PIC) A video published by Israeli activists on the platform “X” on Monday shows the illegal Israeli settler and National Security Minister, Itamar Ben Gvir, along with several members of his far-right Otzma Yehudit party, wearing pins shaped like a noose during a Knesset session of the National Security Committee dedicated to discussing a draft law to execute Palestinian prisoners. In the video, Ben Gvir said that the committee, headed by Zvika Fogel, is discussing the bill proposed by MK Limor Son Har-Melech of the same party. He adds, “This law is about the death penalty for terrorists, it’s a very significant step in Israel.” Referring to the noose pin on his clothes, he says, “We want either the noose, the guillotine, or the electric chair… death penalty for terrorists.” ( Note: The Israeli occupation apartheid regime calls Palestinian political prisoners and freedom fighters as terrorists).Last November, the Israeli Knesset passed the bill in a preliminary reading. The legislation proposes the death penalty for those Israel claims carried out attacks resulting in the death of Israeli settlers. The bill was submitted by the extremist Otzma Yehudit party led by Ben Gvir. At the time, Ben Gvir called on all coalition and opposition parties to vote unanimously for the bill, describing it as a “historic step.” The proposal mandates the death sentence for anyone who intentionally or through gross negligence causes the death of an Israeli citizen based on racist motives or hatred of Israel. It also prohibits reducing any final death sentence issued under this law. *** Walla: 110 Palestinians died in Israeli prisons since Ben-Gvir took office Monday 8-December-2025 El-Nasra (Nazareth), (PIC) Israeli data has revealed an unprecedented rise in the deaths of Palestinian detainees inside Israeli prisons since the illegal Israeli settler, Itamar Ben-Gvir, assumed the position of Minister of National Security. The Israeli website Walla reported that during the period between January 23 and June 25, the deaths (martyrdom) of 110 security detainees were recorded, most of them in hospitals after being transferred from detention centers. According to the website, this figure is the highest compared with data known over previous decades. Released detainees from Israeli prisons had previously revealed the brutal torture Palestinian prisoners are subjected to inside these prisons, confirming that dozens had been executed or beaten to death. Meanwhile, Ben-Gvir is continuing to push for a draft law imposing the death penalty on those who carry out attacks, which will be discussed today, Monday, by the National Security Committee in its second and third readings. In remarks to those close to him, Minister Ben-Gvir said he was “proud to have stopped the summer camps in prisons,” adding that “the prisons have gone back to being prisons after having been luxury hotels for terrorists for years.” According to the data obtained by Walla, the number of recorded deaths over the past months far exceeds the estimates of human rights organizations, which in past years indicated that only dozens of detainees had died over long periods. The current number of detainees in Israeli prisons is estimated at no less than 10,000, following a series of arrests since the outbreak of the war, along with the release of 1,700 detainees from Gaza and 250 sentenced prisoners under the prisoner exchange deal. The organization Physicians for Human Rights had documented the deaths of 46 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails from the beginning of the war until August, but the new data reveals far higher numbers, according to the Israeli website. In 2023, 32 detainees died, including 14 who died in hospitals. In 2024, 47 detainees died, 31 of them in hospitals. And in the current year, 2025, 31 Palestinian detainees have died so far. Since October 7, the Israeli prison service has banned Palestinian prisoners from receiving visits from the Red Cross, in violation of international law. *** The Israeli occupation apartheid settler-controlled regime allocates 2.7 billion shekels to establish and strengthen illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank Monday 8-December-2025 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The illegal Israeli settler and Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, has announced a government plan to allocate 2.7 billion shekels for the establishment of 17 new settlements in the occupied West Bank over the next five years, in a move described as an unprecedented escalation aimed at reinforcing and expanding settlements. According to the plan’s details, 1.1 billion shekels will be earmarked for building and strengthening the new settlements, while 660 million shekels will be directed to the 17 settlements recently approved by the government, including Maalot Halhul, Sa-Nur and Mount Ebal. Another 338 million shekels will go to 36 settlements and outposts undergoing regulation. These funds cover basic infrastructure such as water, sewage and electricity, along with public buildings like ritual baths, synagogues and community centers, all intended to consolidate Jewish presence in the West Bank. In the new settlements, “absorption clusters” will also be built with about 20 caravans per site that will allow settler families to move in and create an initial core population. The government will transfer about 300 million shekels to all the new settlements. 160 million will be used as an “establishment grant,” and 140 million for “organization and activity.” Existing settlements will receive 434 million shekels distributed according to population size for infrastructure rehabilitation, along with 300 million shekels for settlement councils and settler authorities to fund projects and services. An additional 140 million shekels will go towards opening new access roads, mainly to meet the Israeli army’s needs, and 150 million shekels over the next three years to upgrade armored settler buses. The plan includes the relocation of three military bases to Palestinian areas in the northern West Bank after the Israeli army had previously withdrawn from under the Oslo Accords. *** 'Hamas: Israeli bulldozing of Marda lands is part of ongoing land grab and Judaization plan Monday 8-December-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The 'Hamas Movement has condemned the Israeli occupation army’s move to bulldoze approximately 61 dunums of land in the village of Marda, north of Salfeet, calling it “another step in a series of land grab and Judaization schemes.” In a press statement on Monday, 'Hamas leader Abdul Ra'hman Shadeed said that the Israeli occupation apartheid regime is moving forward with its Judaization projects aiming at full control over the West Bank. Shadeed warned of the dangers of the current escalation in settlement activity, emphasizing that these Israeli decisions constitute a blatant assault on Palestinian land and people. He noted that the bulldozing targets agricultural lands that serve as a primary source of livelihood for hundreds of families in Marda and support the village’s long-standing farming economy, raising alarms about the destruction of the local environment and economy. Shadeed affirmed that the Palestinian people “will not give up their land or their rights, and will not surrender to the occupation’s brutality and ongoing crimes.” He urged official bodies, local councils, and community movements to intensify efforts to confront these actions, provide legal and grassroots support to those affected, and resist settlement expansion by all available means. Shadeed also called on the international community to take urgent action to stop Israel’s settlement policies and to confront the Israeli “fascism” aimed at enforcing annexation and displacement plans. *** ****** Gaza death toll from Israel's deadly aggression surpasses 70,365 GAZA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,365, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023. The Ministry added that the number of injuries has risen to 171,058 since the start of the offensive, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams. The Ministry mentioned that five slain people (three new deaths and two whose bodies were recovered) and 11 injuries were taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours. The total number of fatalities and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2023, has reached 376, 981 wounded, and 626 bodies have been recovered. K.T. *** Israeli army carries out fresh strikes, more demolitions in Gaza Monday 8-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) The Israeli occupation army continued on Monday to carry out ceasefire violations in the Gaza Strip by launching renewed aerial and artillery attacks and detonating more homes. According to media sources, Israeli helicopters opened heavy fire east of Rafa'h and east of Khan Younus in southern Gaza. The Israeli occupation army also detonated several residential buildings northwest of Rafa'h, while artillery shelling targeted areas east of Khan Younus. Since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10, 2025, 373 Palestinian civilians have been killed, 970 others wounded, and the bodies of 624 martyrs have been recovered, according to Gaza’s health ministry. *** Two civilians killed, others injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza GAZA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Two civilians were killed and several others were injured on Monday evening by Israeli occupation forces’ fire in the Gaza Strip. WAFA correspondent reported that a civilian was killed after succumbing to injuries sustained in an Israeli shelling of the al-Jarou family home west of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza. Another female was killed by live fire fired from an Israeli drone in 'Halawa camp in the Jabalya El-Balad area, north of the Strip. Several civilians were also injured in Israeli drone shelling targeting the tents of displaced people in the vicinity of El-Omala Market in Gaza City. Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 70,365, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 171,058 others have also been injured. This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews. Medical sources said that during the past 24 hours, five bodies were brought to hospitals in Gaza, including two recovered from under the rubble, along with 11 injured people. Since the ceasefire went into effect on October 11, the number of those killed and injured has reached 376 and 981, respectively. At least 626 bodies have also been recovered. T.R. *** Palestinian killed in Israeli airstrike in Dair El-Bala'h Monday 8-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) A Palestinian man was killed after he sustained serious injuries in an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to El-Jarou family in El-Bassa area, near 'Akeela Station, west of Dair El-Bala'h in central Gaza, medical sources reported on Monday evening. Earlier, the Gaza Ministry of Health had reported that five Palestinian martyrs were transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours, along with 11 others injured. Several Palestinians were also wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a home in Dair El-Bala'h, as Israeli forces continue violating the ceasefire agreement through aerial bombardments, artillery shelling, and demolitions in the eastern areas of the Strip. Israeli warplanes targeted a house near Bilal Mosque in the El-Bassa area of Dair El-Bala'h, injuring several civilians. A local source confirmed that Israeli helicopters opened heavy fire east of Rafa'h and Khan Yunis, accompanied by artillery shelling of eastern neighborhoods. Meanwhile, Israeli ground forces carried out demolitions of residential buildings northwest of Rafa'h. Since the fragile ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, 376 Palestinians have been killed, 981 injured, and 626 bodies recovered. This raises the total toll of the genocidal war since October 7, 2023, to 70,365 martyrs with 171,058 injured, according to the Gaza Health Ministry on Monday. This comes as calls intensify to move toward the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, which includes the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Strip and the deployment of an international stabilization force, as proposed by US President Donald Trump. *** Injuries reported in Israeli shelling of house in Gaza's Dair El-Bala'h GAZA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Several civilians were injured today in an Israeli shelling that targeted El-Jarou family home in El-Bassa area, west of Dair El-Bala'h in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, the death toll in the Gaza Strip has continued to rise, reaching 70,365, mostly women and children, since the onset of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. At least 171,058 others have also been injured. This toll remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews. T.R. *** The Israeli occupation apartheid regime continues to hold 32 Gaza detainees past their sentences Monday 8-December-2025 GAZA, (PIC) Rights groups and families in Gaza are sounding the alarm over what they describe as grave legal and humanitarian violations by the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, including the unlawful detention of Palestinians who have completed their sentences and the continued withholding of bodies of those who died under torture in Israeli custody. The Asra Media Office (AMO) warned on Monday that Israel is still holding 32 detainees from Gaza whose legal sentences have expired, with some cases dating back months and even years. The Office said the practice constitutes arbitrary detention, violates international law, and amounts to a war crime under the Fourth Geneva Convention. According to AMO, the detainees remain imprisoned without being brought before any judicial body, while their families are denied visits or even basic information about their health. The group described the policy as a form of systematic collective punishment imposed on Gaza’s population. Article 132 of the Fourth Geneva Convention stipulates that detainees must be released immediately upon the completion of their sentences, an obligation Israel is accused of ignoring. The AMO urged international human rights organizations to document these cases and pressure Israel for the detainees’ immediate release. It also called on Palestinian officials to mobilize diplomatic and legal efforts at global forums to expose what it described as an escalating crime. Israel, it said, bears full responsibility for the safety and lives of those held without legal justification. In a separate case highlighting Israel’s withholding of prisoners’ bodies, the family of Dr. 'Adnan El-Bursh, a renowned orthopedic surgeon from Gaza, has launched an international campaign to reclaim his remains. El-Bursh died under torture in the Israeli detention more than a year and a half ago, according to his relatives. His wife, Yasmeen El-Bursh, said the family has begun a worldwide campaign aimed at retrieving not only his body but also the bodies of other Palestinians held in Israel’s “cemeteries of numbers.” She called for mounting global pressure on Israel and the opening of an international investigation into the circumstances of the doctor’s death. Al-Bursh, who headed the orthopedic department at Gaza’s El-Shifa Medical Complex before it was devastated by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) during the genocide, was detained by IOF soldiers after they stormed El-Awda Hospital in the Tel El-Za'tar area during the ground invasion of northern Gaza. According to his nephew, physician Iyas El-Bursh, the campaign aims to retrieve the doctor’s body for appropriate burial. The family had expected his body to be among the remains transferred back to Gaza under a recent Qatari- and Egyptian-mediated prisoner exchange backed by the US, but they received no confirmation. The family began social-media mobilization and plans to expand the campaign to include public demonstrations and field actions. Iyas, who was also tortured in the “Sde Teiman” detention site before being released in the exchange deal on February 15, 2025, said he continues to suffer the effects of the abuse. He added that dozens of Palestinian detainees have died in Israeli custody, while those who remain face “catastrophic” detention conditions. According to the Israeli news outlet Walla, at least 110 Palestinians have died in Israeli prisons since Itamar Ben-Gvir became Israel’s minister of national security. Government Media Office director in Gaza, Dr. Muneer El-Bursh, has previously stated that Israel committed “compound crimes” against detainees, including torture, execution at close range, and severe mutilation. He said more than 300 bodies received by Gaza’s health authorities showed signs of extreme abuse, including dog attacks, crushing by military vehicles, and burn marks. Autopsy findings revealed evidence of organ theft, including the removal of kidneys, livers, and corneas, which he described as indicative of a systematic and programmed operation. He called for an urgent international investigation into these violations. *** ý*** Killing, Injuring, and Abduction of Palestinians in the West Bank by Israeli Occupation Regime Forces ***ý Youth succumbs to Israeli gunfire injuries near Qalqilya Monday 8-December-2025 QALQILYA, (PIC) Baraa Bilal Qabalan, 21, on Monday succumbed to wounds he sustained yesterday from Israeli gunfire east of Qalqilya. His body remains withheld, according to the General Authority of Civil Affairs. Local sources reported that Israeli forces opened fire Sunday evening on a Palestinian civilian vehicle west of 'Azzoun village, coinciding with the entry of Israeli military reinforcements into the town. Later, the General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Palestinian Ministry of Health and the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs of the death of Momin Abu Riyash, 19, a resident of Qalqilya, whose body was also withheld. It further reported that Baraa was critically injured by Israeli gunfire, and that Mu'hammed Sa'eed 'Husain was arrested between the towns of 'Azzoun and 'Izbat El-Tabeeb in Qalqilya governorate. *** Palestinian killed, two others injured by IOFs gunfire in the West Bank Monday 8-December-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) A Palestinian young man was martyred and another one was injured on Sunday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) opened fire at a car in the east of Qalqilya City, north of the West Bank. According to the Palestinian health ministry, 19-year-old Momin Abu Riyash, a resident of Qalqilya, was killed and his body was seized by Israeli occupation forces in the'Izbat El-Tabeeb area near the village of 'Azzoun. Local sources reported that the IOFs kidnapped two young men who were at the scene after targeting the car, adding that one of them was seriously injured. The Red Crescent said that its paramedics managed to provide the wounded young man with first aid before he was detained. In a separate incident that same evening, a Palestinian child was wounded when Israeli soldiers opened fire at a civilian car in Burqeen town, west of Jineen. Medical sources said that a 12-year-old child sustained a bullet injury in his thigh in the town. *** Youth injured by Israeli occupation forces near El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) RAMALLAH, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews treated a 21-year-old man on Monday for a gunshot wound to the leg and a shrapnel wound to the head at the separation wall in the town of al-Ram, north of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). The PRCS explained that its crews provided the injured man with first aid before urgently transferring him to the hospital for further treatment. K.T. *** Israeli occupation forces maltreat a Palestinian woman after kidnapping her from home Monday 8-December-2025 RAMALLAH, (PIC) The Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs has unveiled appalling details about the detention of Sama'h 'Hajjawi after her family’s home was brutally raided by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) at dawn Monday. In a statement, the Commission explained that 'Hajjawi was kidnapped at 2:00 a.m. after the Israeli occupation forces violently broke into and rampaged through her home. The Commission added that 'Hajjawi was handcuffed and shuttled between multiple interrogation centers, while being subjected to harsh conditions and deprived of rest. 'Hajjawi told the Commission’s lawyer, who visited her, that she had been subjected to a thorough and humiliating search from the moment of her kidnapping. The Commission described the degrading treatment 'Hajjawi endured as “part of a deliberate, systematic policy designed to break female prisoners psychologically and physically.” The Commission urged international human rights organizations to take immediate action to end Israel’s violations against Palestinian female prisoners, saying they face many repressive and inhumane measures in Israeli jails. *** IOFs raid homes, kidnap several Palestinians in the West Bank Monday 8-December-2025 WEST BANK, (PIC) The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens during an arrest campaign last night and at dawn Monday. According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped two young men from El-Rashayda village in eastern Bait La'hm (Bethlehem) and another one from Dair Istiya town, northwest of Salfeet. In Ell-Khaleel (Hebron), one citizen was taken prisoner after the Israeli occupation forces raided a house in the city’s Wadi El-'Hariya neighborhood. In Ramallah, the IOFs kidnapped four citizens from the villages of Bait Seera and Dair Ibziq. The IOFs reportedly set up some makeshift checkpoints on roads, obstructing traffic in northern Ramallah. In northern Toulkarm, the IOFs kidnapped several citizens from their homes following raids in the towns of 'Atteel, Seida and 'Illar. In Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped a young man during a raid in El-'Ain refugee camp. The IOFs also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported kidnappings. 9 + 2 = 11 kidnapped. *** IOAR bulldozes structures, lands in Maqdisi (Jerusalemite) towns Monday 8-December-2025 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) The Israeli occupation apartheid regime (IOAR) demolished on Monday morning Palestinian-owned commercial facilities and other structures in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). According to local sources, the IOAR demolished three commercial facilities in 'Hizma town, northeast of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), including a car wash and an auto accessories shop belonging to Mohamed Abu Sabah in order to expand a settler road. The sources said that Israeli police forces showered local residents with tear gas canisters during the demolition operation in Hizma town, adding that several citizens, including children and women, suffered from gas suffocation. Israeli bulldozers escorted by police forces also destroyed structures, a park and a volleyball court in the Palestinian town of Mikhmas, northeast of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem). The bulldozers also leveled swaths of agricultural land, razed fences, and uprooted trees in the same area of Mikhmas town. *** Israeli occupation forces storm El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) neighborhood El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening stormed Silwan neighborhood in the occupied city of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), according to El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) Governorate. It said that the occupying forces barged their way into the Aby Tayih neighborhood, a part of Silwan, and occupied the rooftops of several civilians’ houses, turning them into military posts. The gun-toting soldiers opened indiscriminate fire, but there were no casualties. Meanwhile, Israeli infantry soldiers stormed Kafr Malik village, northeast of Ramallah, and deployed in several neighborhoods. There was no immediate information on any house raids or detention cases. The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents. These raids are conducted without the need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers. Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised. K.F. *** *** Aggression and Attacks by Illegal Israeli Settlers and Soldiers *** Note: Despite the Trump administration support for the Israeli occupation apartheid regime, the U.S. official policy is still considering the Israeli settlement activities in the Palestinian territories as illegal. *** Illegal Israeli settlers bulldoze land near Nablus NABLUS, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers bulldozers razed land in the town of 'Aseera El-Qibliya, south of Nablus, on Monday. The head of the 'Aseera El-Qibliya village council, Hafidth Sali'h, said that colonists' bulldozers were carrying out leveling work in the southern part of the village, on Palestinian-owned land classified as Area B, with the aim of paving roads and expanding a new pastoral colonial outpost. He added that in recent months, colonists have established two new outposts on Palestinian-owned land between 'Aseera El-Qibliya and 'Awarta, and between 'Aseera El-Qibliya and Jamma’een, as part of a siege imposed on the three villages and towns. K.T. *** Illegal Israeli settlers steal Palestinian’s agricultural tools near Aree'ha (Jericho) Aree'ha (Jericho), December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of the illegal Israeli settlers on Monday stole a Palestinian’s agricultural tools in 'Ain El-Duyouk El-Ta'hta village, west of the occupied West Bank city of Aree'ha (Jericho), according to eyewitnesses. They said that colonists broke into a Palestinian’s home in the village and stole birds and agricultural tools. The settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. The settler violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others. Approximately 1 million illegal Israeli settlers are living in colonies in the West Bank and El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) in violation of international law. K.F. *** Dozens of the illegal Israeli settlers defile El-Aqsa Mosque Monday 8-December-2025 El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem), (PIC) Scores of the illegal Israeli settlers desecratedEl-Aqsa Mosque in El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) on Monday morning and later in the afternoon, amid restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to the holy site. According to El-Qastal News, at least 166 of the illegal Israeli settlers entered the Mosque through its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards under police protection. During their tours at the Islamic holy site, the settlers received lectures from rabbis about the alleged temple mount and a number of them provocatively performed Talmudic prayers, especially in the eastern area of the Mosque. Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation apartheid regime police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at El-Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates and prevented many of them from entering the holy site. *** Southern El-Khaleel (Hebron) faces escalating IOFs, settler violence as residents endure curfews, daily assaults Monday 8-December-2025 El-Khaleel (Hebron), (PIC) The southern districts of El-Khaleel (Hebron) and surrounding areas have witnessed a marked escalation in attacks by the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) and settlers over the past two years, with violations ranging from shootings and arrests to assaults on homes, farmers, and property. Local journalist and resident Ikram El-Salayma reported that settlers continue to target Palestinian homes in the Jabir neighborhood and adjacent areas of the city, carrying out repeated attacks that have intensified since October 2023. According to El-Salayma, Israel has imposed a recurring nighttime curfew on several neighborhoods, restricting movement from 10 p.m. until morning hours, in addition to a full curfew every Friday and Saturday. The measures have effectively isolated families from one another, preventing residents from checking on nearby relatives. Children now walk to school in groups to avoid settler assaults, while parents escort them during morning and midday hours to ensure their safety. On Sunday, El-Khaleel (Hebron) observed a full general strike in mourning and protest after the IOF shot and killed two Palestinians, Ziyad Na'eem Abu Dawoud and A'hmed El-Rajabi, on Saturday in the Bab El-Zawiya area at the center of the city. Meanwhile, the IOFs carried out widespread raids and arrests across the West Bank, including in al-Khalil. A young man from the city was detained on Monday, while two others were arrested in Bani Na'eem and two additional residents were seized from Sa’ir in recent days. The Israeli settler attacks on Palestinians and their property continue unabated. In the Jabir neighborhood near the Ibraheemi Mosque, settlers assaulted residents again on Monday. In another incident, settlers released their livestock onto Palestinian-owned agricultural land in El-Maniya area east of Sa’ir, north of al-Khalil, damaging crops and grazing fields. Human rights groups report that remote communities in southern al-Khalil have faced a surge in settler violence as part of efforts to force Palestinians from their homes and lands. Advocacy organizations say the pattern reflects an organized strategy to depopulate the area and expand settlement control. *** *** News Related to the Israeli Genocidal War on the Palestinian People *** Senegal’s League of imams and preachers condemns visit by Senegalese delegation to Israel DAKAR, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The League of Imams and Preachers in Senegal affirmed its categorical rejection and strong condemnation of the participation of what it described as “a delegation of Senegalese clerics and journalists” in a visit to Israel, stressing that the delegation does not represent the Senegalese people or the country’s religious leadership in any way. In a statement issued on Monday, the League said Senegal’s religious leadership has historically been known for its steadfast positions in supporting the Palestinian people and defending their legitimate rights. It emphasized that no credible religious institution in Senegal had endorsed the initiative or provided it with any legitimacy or mandate, and that it runs wholly counter to the Senegalese people’s long-standing position rejecting the policies of occupation, colonization, and repression. The League added that the visit comes at a time when the world is witnessing grave violations of international law and human rights in Palestine, considering such a step a political wrongdoing and an injustice that does not align with Senegal’s official positions and its history of supporting causes of truth and justice. It also recalled that Senegal has chaired, since 1975, the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, reflecting the Senegalese state’s firm and lasting commitment to the Palestinian cause. The League emphasized the importance of not associating Senegal, its scholars, or its people with what it termed an isolated individual initiative lacking legitimacy, reaffirming its enduring diplomatic, moral, and religious commitment to supporting Palestine. T.R. *** Swedish Left Party holds symbolic parliamentary initiative in solidarity with Palestinian detainees STOCKHOLM, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Swedish Left Party on Monday undertook a symbolic action in parliament, involving all 22 of its members and two Left members of the European Parliament, to underscore the suffering of Palestinian detainees and elevate their issue within Europe’s legislative forums. The MPs placed photos of 24 Palestinian detainees, including leader Marwan El-Barghouthi, on their seats in parliament for a two-week period, while sharing information on detention conditions across social media platforms, to raise European awareness of the humanitarian issue. Each MP also wrote a personal message of solidarity to a detainee, which was delivered through the International Committee of the Red Cross and the lawyer of the Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs Commission. Party leaders participated in the initiative, headed by Nooshi Dadgostar, affirming the party’s commitment to supporting Palestinian rights, foremost the right of detainees to freedom and human dignity. The initiative is part of joint coordination between the Swedish Left Party, the General Union of the Palestinian Community in Sweden, the Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS), in a move aimed at internationalizing the detainees’ issue and elevating it on the global stage. The union and the Palestinian community voiced appreciation for the supportive stances of Swedish and European parliamentarians, reaffirming their commitment to sustain efforts until detainees secure their full freedom. T.R. *** Jordan condemns extremist Israeli minister's statements AMMAN, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs on Monday strongly condemned statements made by the extremist Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich rejecting the establishment of a Palestinian state. The Ministry said the remarks coincided with an Israeli government plan to expand and establish illegal colonial settlements in the occupied West Bank, describing these actions as a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law. It underlined that such measures undermine the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to self-determination, ending the occupation, and establishing an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 lines, with occupied East Jerusalem as its capital. The Ministry stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over the occupied West Bank. The Ministry’s official spokesperson, Ambassador Fuad Majali, said the Kingdom rejects and strongly condemns the Israeli government's continued settlement schemes in the occupied West Bank and the unacceptable statements issued by its officials. He noted that these actions entrench the occupation, expand settlements, and violate international law as well as resolutions of international legitimacy, particularly United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which denounces all Israeli measures aimed at altering the demographic composition, character, and status of the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967, including East Jerusalem. He also cited the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, which determined that the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory is illegal and that settlement construction and annexation measures in the occupied West Bank have no legal validity. Majali called on the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities and compel Israel to halt its dangerous escalation, illegal unilateral actions in the occupied West Bank, and ongoing oppression of the Palestinian people. He underlined that fulfilling the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, foremost among them the establishment of their independent state on their national soil, is the only path to achieving a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees security and stability in the region. K.T. *** Government operations room reviews the Environmental Relief and Early Recovery Plan of the Environment Quality Authority in Gaza RAMALLAH, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – The Government Operations Room for Emergency Interventions in the Gaza Strip reviewed today, Monday, the environmental relief and early recovery plan for the Environment Quality Authority (EQA) in Gaza. The plan is part of a set of preliminary sectorial strategies that are continuously updated in coordination with local and international partners. The session assessed the scale of environmental devastation resulting from the ongoing aggression and outlined urgent and medium-term priorities for rehabilitating environmental resources and protecting public health. Sama'h 'Hamad, Chair of the Operations Room, emphasized that the environment sector is among the most devastated in Gaza, noting that its rehabilitation is essential for the recovery of other sectors such as water, health, infrastructure, and agriculture. Acting EQA Head, Eng. A'hmed Abu Zahir, explained that the war caused unprecedented environmental destruction, including the collapse of nearly 80% of water and wastewater systems and severe contamination of the coastal aquifer. He added that the destruction of more than 2,000 industrial facilities led to major leakage of chemicals, oils, solar-panel components, batteries, and asbestos into soil and surface water. According to the EQA presentation, debris from destroyed buildings exceeds 60 million tons, including 4 million tons of hazardous waste, 50,000 tons of asbestos, and nearly 100,000 tons of explosives and unexploded ordnance. Agricultural losses were also catastrophic: 95% of crops, 98% of tree crops, and 89% of annual crops were destroyed. Large agricultural areas were contaminated with wastewater, solid waste, and explosive remnants, while military activity severely damaged soil structure. On the marine environment, the presentation reported the discharge of 120,000 m³ of untreated wastewater daily into the sea, alongside explosive remnants and hazardous waste. Pollution plumes stretching 700–1,000 meters offshore have reduced fishing areas and contaminated the marine food chain, in addition to destroying 3,700 dunums of coastal ecosystems and 50% of Wadi Gaza Nature Reserve, Gaza’s only nature reserve. The presentation also noted the emergence of numerous informal waste dumps, the accumulation of more than 700,000 tons of solid waste, and the destruction of sanitary landfills and medical waste treatment facilities, with new contamination linked to mass displacement toward central and southern Gaza. The EQA estimated greenhouse-gas emissions from 15 months of military operations at 1.89 million tons CO₂-equivalent, while reconstruction may generate up to 31 million tons CO₂-equivalent—more than the annual emissions of 20 countries combined. This poses a severe threat to ecosystems, increases air-pollution levels, and risks long-term respiratory and chronic illnesses, further undermining sustainable-development efforts. In response to these challenges, the EQA presented a phased plan covering relief, recovery, and comprehensive environmental rehabilitation. Key actions include restoring environmental capacities, providing essential equipment, integrating environmental considerations into relief operations and camp planning, collecting solid waste, curbing informal dumping, identifying and separating hazardous waste, and conducting preliminary air and water pollution assessments. During the environmental recovery phase, interventions include establishing air-pollution monitoring stations, developing data-collection systems, studying the use of debris for coastal reinforcement, assessing Wadi Gaza Nature Reserve, and preparing a comprehensive hazardous-waste management plan. The EQA stressed the importance of integrating environmental considerations into relief and recovery planning, documenting environmental impacts, and incorporating climate-change factors into future policies. It also called for pressure on the occupying power to allow a UN Environment Programme expert team into Gaza for a full field-based environmental assessment. The meeting concluded that protecting Gaza’s environment is fundamental to public health and to the recovery of all sectors, noting that environmental action is now a central component of ensuring the daily survival of millions of affected residents. In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32). "And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93). "If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7). *** While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son). After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD. By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD. So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents. No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians. No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since. This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948. The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.
